This film was produced when I was selected as a youth volunteer ambassador after receiving the National Youth Volunteer Award. As a national chess player and founder of the Taiwan Youth Chess Association (TYCA), I have always believed that chess can connect people beyond words.
While promoting chess, I met children on the autism spectrum who also loved the game but struggled to learn in traditional ways. To help them, I introduced the FIDE Infinite Chess Project to Taiwan and worked with the Autism Foundation of Taiwan to design inclusive lessons.
The film captures the challenges and breakthroughs of those classes—moments when students lost focus, learned patience, and eventually found joy in every move. It ends at the beach, where we played human chess together—a symbol of understanding, inclusion, and hope.
